Radio Netherlands to adjust A08 frequencies

Nearly three weeks into the new broadcasting season, it’s time to make a few adjustments to our shortwave frequency schedule to improve reception of certain transmissions. The sunspot count is very low at the moment, and some transmissions are not performing as well as the computer calculations predicted they would. So please note the following:

For English to Asia at 1400-1557 UTC, Madagascar moves from 9890 to 9885 kHz effective 19 April.

Also for English to Asia at 1359-1557 UTC, Dushanbe will move down to 5830 kHz instead of 9345 kHz effective 19 April.

For Dutch to Europe at 0558-0757 UTC, the transmitter site on 5955 kHz is changed from Wertachtal to Nauen, 500 kW, beam 220° effective 18 April.
